- Colour scheme – black white and red – magazines colour scheme
- Photo on left hand side – full page photograph – first thing you notice on the page – shocking (fits with Lady GAGA’s style and the image she portrays) appears to not be wearing an clothes except chains – lots of dark eye make up to make them stand out – contrast from white hair
- The letter L – stands for ‘Lady GAGA’ in red so it stands out from the page – no text wrapping, the text goes over the letter
- In the top right hand corner ‘Lady GAGA’ is written – so the reader knows who the article is about
- Standfirst – used twice but not at the beginning of the article – used at the beginning of the second paragraph and the beginning of the last paragraph – highlights those paragraphs
- Bottom right hand corner is the magazine logo – last thing you see on the page
- Arrows at the end of the article indicate that it continues on to the next page
- Writing style – formal, uses lots of extended vocabulary
- Interview style – quotes fitted into the article at certain points rather than question and answer style
- Makes reference to various people - ‘Beyonce’ ‘Rihanna’ ‘Marilyn Monroe’ - comparing her to other stars and listing celebrities she is friends with
